Wonderful yoga studio around the Chelsea area which I’m currently in town for a visit. The price for drop in classes are well set. Instructor was kind, helpful and the flow of the class was just right! Studio is well kept and I appreciate everything regarding my visit. Definitely recommend. Thank you!-Peggy R🧘🏽♀️

Absolutely loved this yoga studio. It has a very homely feel and vibe. The Hatha Yoga class was amazing, and just what I needed on Sunday morning in NYC! I had a self practice in Hatha and learned from India (my native country). When I moved to London a few years ago, I found it hard to stumble upon a traditional Hatha class. This one with the Turkish teacher (I forget his name) was one of the best Hatha classes I have experienced in the Western world. I’ve done yoga in studios across Europe and the West Coast, but none have an authentic Hatha practice. Highly recommend this Hatha class. I’m sure even their Sun salutation class would be great, I unfortunately did not have time on my trip to visit.

When I went to New York for a few days, I was looking for a traditional Hatha Yoga class in Manhattan. I came across this Studio and after having a look at website and Instagram account (which I both liked a lot), I booked a Hatha Yoga class with Rosanna. I was very excited and was warmly welcomed by her when entering the building. The studio itself is such a lovely space and Rosanna created a very warm and calm atmosphere. I loved the session, which was really a traditional Hatha Yoga class. In every aspect I felt Rosanna creating a space for me to feel safe, seen and grounded. Besides having this fantastic lesson, we had a great conversation and I left the studio happy, inspired and resting in myself.

I can't say enough good things about this studio! I used to practice yoga regularly but fell out of it about 5 years ago due to some health stuff. After moving to Midtown last year, I searched everywhere for a studio focused on restorative, yin, and non-heated yoga, something more traditional. I honestly thought it didn't exist here until I found Alma. Getting back on my feet at this studio has been such a gift. Rosanna and Berkay have created something really special. You can tell they genuinely care about every person who walks through the door. The instructors are amazing too! ♥️ So knowledgeable and kind. Every class feels welcoming and intentional. 🙏 I'm so grateful to have found this place as I re-find myself. It's exactly what I needed, and I'm excited to keep going on this journey with Alma. Please never change. 💕

We organised a private, family yoga class on our trip to New York. It was a beautiful experience in such a gentle space designed perfectly to escape from the city. Both teachers welcomed us and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease ( my son aged 14 had not done yoga before and my husband was recovering from a skateboarding accident where he had dislocated his shoulder ). The teacher kept the asanas connected to the breath, offering modifications and new challenges to both my daughter and I who are seasoned yogis. My husband experienced less pain and more mobility in his shoulder after the class and it was a great way to connect as a family and focus on our wellbeing. The teacher was generous with his time, and at the end we were offered herbal tea and a nut, seed and fruit pot by Rosanna. Thank you ever so much. You are just at the beginning of building your community and we wish you all the love and success as you support others to reconnect to themselves and bring balance back to the world x
