Had my very first class with Matt on friday night. What a blast! He brought an incredible energy, i was genuinely sad the class was over although my legs were on fire. The rest of the staff was also super nice. I’d give 6 stars if I could!

Roxy!!!! Slayed the black Friday post thanksgiving turkey burn. First time meeting her, my bestie that is a soul VIP recommended I come take the Williamsburg location for a spin, and have to say Roxy slayed the class! Super energetic, sexy play list and very interactive! Loved it! Will be back for another great work out. The front desk staff was great as well!

I’ve been taking Parker’s class for two years and he’s the reason I keep going back! He curates the best vibe, playlists, and energy for each class (he’s literally a dj so trusttt he knows what’s up). I love that he lets us ride at our own pace, encouraging us to listen to our bodies & modify the workout as needed without talking over the music the whole time. The atmosphere always feels open, inclusive, and overall positive for someone who was a nervous first time rider. If you like to have fun/dancing/dj sets/feeling like you’re in the club, Parker’s class is for you! The space is always clean and the studio staff is super kind and helpful! I ride for soulcycle williamsburg & Parker♥️

Mixed feelings about SoulCycle, the experience really depends on the instructor. I had my first class ever with Casey, he was AMAZING! Super positive energy, motivating, great playlist, and respected the typical SoulCycle class structure. However, I had my second class with Parker, and I didn't enjoy it at all. He walked in and barely said hi, didn't introduce himself, his choice of music was too personal in my opinion (I prefer more uplifting and popular songs), he was not motivating at all, barely engaged with us riders, and - worst of all - ENDED CLASS EARLY! Class started at 9:30 and ended at 10:08 :( The workout in itself was fine but if I pay for a class, it's for the instructor, otherwise I would ride the bike at the gym on my own. Disappointed..

I’ve always been the biggest fan of SoulCycle—I used to go 2–3 times a week, and then Thad a 2 years break ! So I was really excited to get back to it. But it only takes one awful instructor to ruin everything. What happened to SoulCycle? Since when are the instructors so self-centered, more focused on staring at themselves in the mirror than actually leading the class? Not to mention the disrespect… Definitely time to find an alternative!
