About

SoulCycle BKHT - Brooklyn Heights offers high-energy spin classes in a dedicated studio environment. The gym specializes in indoor cycling workouts that combine motivational coaching with curated music playlists to create an immersive fitness experience. Members consistently praise the energetic atmosphere and supportive community that makes each session feel both challenging and uplifting. The studio provides shoe rentals for those who need them, though some newcomers have reported confusion about this policy during check-in.

reviewsWhat Members Say

Members rave about the high-energy spin classes and motivational instructors like Dominique and Rubie, describing the workouts as challenging yet supportive with great music and community atmosphere. Several reviewers mention leaving classes feeling energized and excited for their week ahead. However, multiple customers report poor front desk experiences, including one group of 19 being turned away and another first-time visitor feeling accused of lying about previous visits. While the actual workout receives consistent praise, the customer service at check-in has created negative first impressions for some.

As a new comer to soul (7 rides in💪🏾) I found my home location. I’m so happy with this form of working out. If you’re looking for motivation, a good sweat and community this is where you need to be ! I now follow my favorite instructor (Dominique) to all her locations.

Has such an amazing experience at Rubies 9:30 today!! This is my first time doing Soul Cycle and I will def be back to take class with her again. Lovely day to start my Monday and I left feeling excited for the week ahead. Good music better energy and an overall incredibly supportive environment to be in. Rubie made me feel supported and uplifted, allowing me to take things at my own pace while still pushing me to give what I didn’t even know I could. 10s across the board!!

This was my first time going to SoulCycle through ClassPass, and I had never taken a SoulCycle class before. When I checked in, the front desk employee asked for my information and said the system showed that I had already been there four times. That was really strange because I have never been to any SoulCycle class before. He asked me again if I had been there before and I said no. His response was, “Well why would it say you’ve been here four times?” which honestly caught me off guard. I even said, “Why would I lie about coming here?” The whole interaction felt uncomfortable and a bit accusatory. He then mentioned he would waive the $4 shoe rental fee, which I didn’t know about and never asked for. It almost felt like he thought I was lying just to get a $4 shoe rental waived, which was frustrating and unnecessary. I then asked if someone could show me around since it was my first time, and overall the customer service just wasn’t great. I always thought of SoulCycle as a more premium fitness brand, so the experience at the front desk was disappointing. That said, the class itself was actually good. I liked the music and the energy in the room, and the instructor created a great vibe. The workout was solid. Overall, I enjoyed the class, but the customer service at this location definitely left a bad impression. It honestly makes me curious to try Peloton or other studios instead to see if the experience is different.

Very poor customer service. Our group was scheduled for this past Saturday. We arrived before the time and was turned away, all 19 of us!!! I was excited to be starting this new journey to a healthy lifestyle and SoulCycle would have been a new experience for me. It is very sad that this business is in our community yet we felt like we were second class citizens. Is this normal business etiquette? I will never return and will advise my friends not to either. First impression is a lasting one. There is nothing you can do to erase how you made me feel. Its a NO for me.

I have never been so humiliated. I expected better customer service. I came with a group of 19 and we were all refused service. This is not a high end boutique establishment as we al thought. My first time and definitely my last time. I will not be recommending this place of business. I wish I could give no stars. Disappointed, humiliated and will never come back.
