I had walked past this studio for months and am sooo glad I finally tried it out! There are so many great teachers here that all bring a different vibe to their class which is great. The owner Aqila is a very skilled teacher and there is more of a community feeling than other studios I have tried in the area. This is a really great addition to the neighborhood!

A calming yoga session that blended sound and music and helped me feel at ease at my own level. While the guidance offered thoughtful ways to work through discomfort, this was my first time and it would also be my last.

Such an amazing yoga studio with equally amazing teachers! After my first class, I knew I wanted to become a monthly member. The energy here is so warm and welcoming, and there’s a wonderful variety of classes and teaching styles, each one unique and special in its own way. I’ve truly found a sense of community with the other members who share this space. The classes evolve beautifully throughout the year, aligning with the seasons and the different energies we all experience. This isn’t a place filled with large egos, it’s a safe, inclusive space for beginners and people of all walks of life. The instructors provide thoughtful guidance and tools that make even the newest yogis feel welcome, confident, and capable of reaching their goals and intentions. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community and truly believe it’s a space for everyone. The classes are always challenging in the best way, leaving me feeling stronger, grounded, and inspired every time.

Anti-vax and completely incompetent, rude owner! I and 5 other people showed up for an 8:30 AM class today, the studio was not yet open. I waited 15 minutes and no one ever came. I called multiple times to contact the owner, who did not pick up. I just called again at 9:45 to let the owner know what happened (including the fact that another student told me this has happened to her before) and the owner immediately became abrasive and rude to me. It’s shocking to be spoken to this way when I was genuinely just trying to let her know that an instructor has repeatedly no-showed for a class - I have no idea why she became upset with me for just letting her know. I understand that things can happen and instructors are human, so to be spoken to the way she spoke to me was so shocking when I did not come at her with that energy. Looking at the studio’s website, I see in the About section the owner openly admits to getting fired from her teaching position at an NYC public school because she refused to get fully vaccinated. Horrifying that a person like this owns a “wellness” business in our neighborhood. Don’t waste your time or risk your health coming here. This business does not respect its customers and you’d be better off supporting a business that does.
