I started training at Soho Strength Lab last summer and have had a phenomenal experience since. I had been considering starting personal training for years, and I was looking for a gym that is welcoming but also challenges its clients. I found all of that and more at SSL—on my first call with Ryan, we discussed my fitness goals, and he made me feel immediately comfortable and matched me with my trainer, Alec. I've been working with Alec twice a week since then, and I cannot speak highly enough about how attentive he is and how great his training program has been for me. I highly recommend Soho Strength Lab.

The best training gym in NYC bar none! I've been training at SSL with Stephen for a few years and absolutely love it. The coaches are knowledgeable and have helped me really enjoy working out. I can't recommend SSL enough!

Best personal training gym! I have done personal training before but this has been the best experience by far. The gym itself is so nice and great equipment options. I have been training here just about a year and have never felt stronger. Shoutout my trainer Katie!!!

Soho Strength Lab helped me go from a full achilles tear and unable to walk, to fully sprinting like I'm the Road Runner from Looney Tunes. The coaches are knowledgeable and the facility has the space to allow clients to train like athletes (unlike many NYC gym and physical therapy offices). I highly recommend. FIVE STARS!

Grateful to Soho Strength and in particular to my trainer and coach JJ. A year ago I was experiencing constant pain, limping badly and lacking full range of motion. A year later, I’m playing tennis pain-free. I’m so grateful and couldn’t recommend JJ and the SSL team more! I’ve worked with other trainers at bigger clubs but nothing compares. JJ’s programming is customized, thoughtful and thorough. He continues to help me rehab, improve strength and mobility and integrate sport specific exercises to elevate my tennis game. So thankful to have found this gym and JJ!!
