Pure Barre Park Slope has truly changed my life for the better! Everyone who works at the studio is incredibly welcoming from front desk staff to the instructors. Classes are challenging and fun (the music is always amazing and motivating!). I feel like I’ve finally found a workout class that I consistently want to do and I love being a part of the Pure Barre Park Slope community! Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for 2+ years and must leave a review for exceptional customer support at front desk and the studio has good selection of instructors. Best times to come is on weekdays from 12-2pm. It gets crowded on the weekends and I don’t get the same quality of workout. I used to have a membership here and did not have too much issue cancelling; I can’t same the same about other workout studios near the neighborhood. I have been getting unusual amounts of pushy texts to start a membership which is a little annoying but I understand they have a quota to meet and respect the hustle.

Pure Barre Park Slope was my first intro to barre classes, and I found it through ClassPass. My first class completely kicked my butt—I struggled to keep up and had to rest often—but I ended up loving it so much that I signed up as a member and bought a few class packs. Now, I feel stronger each time I go. My posture has improved, my core is more engaged, and my legs feel noticeably stronger. The instructors are super supportive, and the vibe is welcoming. If you’re on the fence, take the first step—it’s absolutely worth it!

Thank you so much for the lessons, they were amazing! Excellent studio and location.! My mistake was visiting on a Saturday; the place was overcrowded, and the other people weren't very friendly, I'd even say aggressive. Even basic courtesy, like giving up a seat, was lacking. I was very surprised that these people didn't have an open-minded attitude, despite wearing headscarves.

I've been a member of Pure Barre Park Slope for about 18 months and it was love at first tuck. :) The instructors are top notch, the members are easy going, and the work is intense (every body according to it's abilities). It's a multi generational studio, and its membership is predominantly female. My favorite formats are the yoga-inspired Align and dance/pilates-inspired Classic, and they also have more intensive cardio and strength option as well. The schedule is robust--you can *always* find a daily option. They shake up the community with special events and challenges throughout the year (see the pictures of the Mom-osa Mother's Day treat that awaited us after class last weekend...) I never get bored, because the choreography changes every few weeks. And at the same time, there is a fairly consistent pattern from class to class. It took me about 4-5 classes before I figured out the patterns and the etiquette. Today, I have 179 classes under my belt--working toward my 250 class milestone. I will admit that there are times I quietly swear at my instructors under my breath when they make those tiny adjustments in my form... :) As a former dancer and yoga instructor, I appreciate their ability to recognize and offer kind corrections, as well as positive reinforcement when things are going well. Here I am on my 50th class milestone. Highly recommended!
