It's a very big gym with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and everything you'd expect from a modern, well-equipped place. There's a wide range of machines, updated cardio equipment, free weights, and a CrossFit area. The area is clean throughout. Locker rooms are fine, though it gets crowded during rush hours. Overall, good value for the price.

MatchPoint NYC was already one of the better sports clubs in Brooklyn. Now it feels like a completely different level. Sensei Evgeniy Bure joined the program — one of the rare 4th-Dan black belt masters with more than 45 years of teaching experience. His presence immediately changed everything: higher standards, sharper training, real discipline, and true martial arts culture. You can feel the authority and depth in every class. The quality of instruction is exceptional. Brooklyn is lucky to have a master of this caliber. Thank you.

Matchpoint has everything. A fitness center with so many classes, tons of cardio machines and weights. The instructors of the classes are very nice and helpful. The app makes it easy to sign up for classes. I also love the sauna. It’s been especially useful since we are having a very cold winter this year. I’ve also taken my son to the mommy and me gymnastics and swimming classes. Although I did not try the food at the cafe, it is convenient that they have an eatery onsite. The only thing that I don’t like is the yearly fee that they charge I believe every January. It is on top of our already somewhat high monthly fee to be members. Aside from that, I am very happy to be a member here.

The worst gym experience in NYC (Brooklyn) The customer service is very disappointing and unprofessional. The management and some training staff are passive aggressive and don’t take responsibility for their actions (all their review replies look like generated by AI) Just check out all 1-star reviews. Be aware they charge extra for some group classes.

We are a middle-aged family who have always lived a healthy lifestyle, paid attention to nutrition, and included various sports in our lives. We previously lived in another city and have been residing in Brooklyn, New York for the past four years. We were members of Yoga Hell for three years and were very satisfied with both the instructors and the overall atmosphere. Later, because it was close to our home and offered machine-based workouts, we decided to become members here as well. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, the services we received varied greatly depending on the staff member. We were told to create an online account, but despite trying many times, we were unable to do so due to system issues. When we went in for help, staff took our phones without permission and set passwords without asking us. We were promised a free personal training session multiple times, left our contact details repeatedly, yet were never contacted. When we lost our water bottle and simply asked if there was a lost and found, we received an unnecessarily harsh reaction. People come to places like this to relax in an already exhausting city, but except for one friendly Russian female staff member, most employees were unfriendly and unwelcoming. We hope the management takes these issues seriously, and we wish better experiences to future members.
