I started working with Nick about 9 months ago as a complete beginner looking to get into strength training, and I’m so glad I did. We began with kettlebell and dumbbell movements and have since progressed to all the major barbell lifts. Nick is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to both programming and nutrition. Even now that I feel much more confident in the gym, our weekly sessions remain the most valuable part of my training. I often hit personal bests with Nick that give me the confidence to push myself a little further during my solo workouts. More recently, I decided to focus on nutrition, and with Nick’s guidance I’ve already dropped several percentage points of body fat while continuing to build strength. I can’t recommend Nick highly enough—whether you’re new to lifting or looking to take your training to the next level, he’s an outstanding coach.

Nick is an excellent trainer who includes diet consultation with exercise. That is a big deal. He is always prompt and fully attentive to his client. I have made good progress with him during the past year. Hype Gym at Union Square is an excellent place for serious people to train.

After training with Nick for the past year, I can confidently recommend his services to anyone who is serious about improving their health and strength. Nick strikes the perfect balance between patience and firmness, holding me accountable while remaining empathetic to life's challenges. He has extensive knowledge about fitness and the human body, and his positive attitude and willingness to adjust based on my feedback makes him really great to work with and learn from. Training with Nick the last year has not just led to physical improvements, but it's changed my overall mindset to be more oriented towards wellness and growth. I feel really lucky to have found him!
