reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently praise the exceptional quality of instructors, with many specifically mentioning trainers like David and Haley as reasons to choose this location over more convenient options. The welcoming atmosphere and professional staff receive frequent compliments, with front desk personnel like Phil, Sharon, and manager Edwin noted for their outstanding service and community-building approach. However, some members express concerns about equipment maintenance, mentioning rusty or dangerous equipment and disorganized weights, while others note issues with locker room temperature and occasional staff rudeness. I noticed that a lot of the feedback mentions this gym being less up to date than other locations. That may be true, but I have been to nearly every Equinox from the Upper East Side through Brooklyn during my two years as a member. Out of all the all access gyms, none compare to the Brooklyn Heights location when it comes to instructors. The instructors here are so exceptional that I will travel specifically for their classes even when there is A much more convenient location.

This club is amazing! From the front desk to the trainers, David and Haley and to the sales desk and the Spa area, front desk was the kindest. These guys are absolutely pros! I felt so welcomed and part of a family. Thank you so much for making me feel special and that I matter. Can’t wait to start my journey with my trainer on August 1st💚 Excellent club and wonderful staff members. They sure know how to make you feel welcomed. From the front desk manager named Phil who was fantastic from the first email. I emailed and his response time was lighting fast. He answered all my questions and told me to ask for him when I get in that he would gladly show me around. The gym is spotless, equipped with equipment that looks brand new. The sales team is great and the personal trainer is excellent. Highly recommend David! They have a juice bar on the first floor and the club has 4 floors. It’s a walk up, for those who are curious not sure if they have elevators but glad to use the stairs. They offer complimentary alkaline water at the front desk. They also have complimentary locks for your locker. You can trade in your drivers license in exchange for the lock and you can return the key and receive you if back. Sharon at the front desk is the sweetest. Overall you feel so welcomed and treated like royalty. I 💯 precent recommend this location. There is outdoor metered and non-metered parking. Keep optimistic and I am sure you will get a parking spot. Congratulations 🎊 if this review helped you take the plunge and cheers to rest of 2022! You got this💪😎

I love the spaces here. This location in NYC but it is is a nice size. The bathrooms are clean. Many classes are available. Staffs are friendly (Alex, Derek, Chloe, ...) and membership advisors (Leticia, Addie) are super cool! Everyone is willing to take for you hundreds of photos until your happy :D Update:The new manager Mr.Edwin is the BEST! He takes care of his gym like his family or home. He tries classes to make sure the most pleasant experiences for his clients. He asked clients if there are areas that need to be improved! This gym is gonna be the most popular in Brooklyn soon!

Worst equinox I have been to by far and I have been to multiple across Manhattan and in other states. Only one still requiring you to bring your own lock. Weights are all over the place and not put back in place, and to top it off extremely rude front desk person. No heat in the locker rooms as well, so prepare yourself to freeze when you got out of the shower. I would stay away from this gym given a small subway ride can take you to much nicer locations in downtown Manhattan

I really wish this wasn't true but, there's no other way to say it...this location is a mess. Rusty, wobbly, dangerous equipment. Staff with the appearance of being nice without the urgency of doing anything. A luxury fee without all the fuss of luxury. They must be waiting out their lease.
