reviewsWhat Members Say
Members frequently praise the gym's cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and the recent addition of new equipment like treadmills. Common themes include the convenient location near the G train, the energizing but not overly loud atmosphere, and the facility getting very crowded during evening rush hours. Specific staff members like Savannah, Kelvin, Ru, Jessica, and manager Francisco receive repeated commendations for being encouraging. However, some reviews express serious concerns about isolated instances of uncomfortable staff behavior and issues with billing transparency, where members felt misled about contract terms and additional charges.

I'm really glad this Crunch is in my neighborhood. It is clean and the atmosphere is good. The music is energizing and not overly loud, so I can listen to a podcast on my headphones if I feel like it. They recently bought some new machines - I really like the new treadmills. The staff is encouraging and super helpful - extra thank yous to Savannah, Kelvin, Ru, & Jessica.

Great gym. Clean, spacious, and well laid out with plenty of equipment, even during busy hours. The staff are friendly and actually helpful, not just sitting behind the desk. Francisco the manager is the best.

Crunch Greenpoint is in a great spot just five minutes from the G train and surrounded by good food. The gym has two floors with a lot of treadmills but only a few bikes so they can be hard to get. The machines are a mix of older but well-kept ones and some newer muscle-building ones. Some are a little squeaky but nothing too bad. It gets packed during rush hour from 6 to 8 PM but I had no trouble grabbing a treadmill. The fitness class area is right next to the cardio section and the machines are pretty close together so you can definitely feel the person next to you going hard on the treadmill. The treadmills have built-in fans but they mostly blow warm air. The locker room is in the basement where I saw a yoga class happening. The women’s locker room is clean with lots of lockers so bring a lock. There are a good number of bathroom stalls showers and sinks. I saw about four water-filling stations on the first floor and the filters seem solid. Everyone is pretty good about wiping down machines and there are plenty of cleaning stations around.

They put staff that doesn’t represent our community to harass us! Why does he need to clean all day and block machines and when he sees a man or woman that’s white and wants to bother them he goes cleans next to them and if they move and hurt his feelings he then goes follows them until the camera comes out. Then the trainers had one at the entrance as I’m going down the stairs see that i didn’t want to be bothered moving away from him, so he forcefully goes to talk to me and since i didn’t like it or answered he then was coincidentally waiting for me when I came out of the locker room and my whole workout had to be cut short bc it was already 10 times he had passed close to me no matter where I went, then in the lower floor he saw me and hid by the water fountain and wouldn’t move until I left he pops up and goes my direction then as I exited he was right back at the spot where he had greeted me forcefully. I’m glad I paid for this and that our community will not say anything.

Watch out when you have them a card. Please be careful which contract you signed. They show you only small screen and set up rules in front desk but then you can come back home and figure out they changed you 60$ more. Even if they told you about special discout. The gym and equipment was good but emolyeers should be changed (included manager) Sorry for that but I don’t want to come back here anymore.
