Several reviewers specifically praise coach Jose for his exceptional training abilities that help both men and women achieve fitness goals. Place is tight, as in limited space, but this place has Jose at 5am. This places value is all in Jose and what he brings to the table. If you want to lose weight for the summer. Work with Jose. Whether woman or man, Jose will get you fit. This place without Jose is not worth it.

First; it's a shame that "High Definition" closed down. Place was large enough to move around without getting on everyone's way. It was a nice neighborhood gym. You got more than what you paid for. Now it turned into "Brolick" and everything went down hill. Except the membership fees, those went up. Between being a child daycare center, were kids run around the place, at least at "HD" there was room where they could sit, there's the chance that the kids are going to jump onto a fixture or a weight left by a customer. There's also equipment being held together by tape, holes in carpets, and equipment is pretty much packed in there. The counter has no orange juice to make shakes, no membership cards for new and existing members, but it's nice the fees went up. As soon as a Planet Fitness opens near by I'll jump that ship. But until then this place will have to do.

The overall quality of this facility has declined noticeably. The new cleaning staff has not maintained previous standards—floor mats, mirrors, and common areas are consistently dirty. A glass panel was replaced over a month ago, yet shards remain near the deadlift area, and that floor deadlift section is completely uneven. Only one chest fly machine is operational, as the second has been out of service since August. The basement lacks proper ventilation; although dehumidifiers are installed, they are frequently left off. In the men’s locker room, roughly half of the twelve lockers either do not lock or are being used for overnight storage. The gym does offer enough equipment for a solid workout, but maintenance and cleanliness have clearly taken a back seat. The owner appears more focused on his other location, Coliseum Gym on 102nd Street.
