I go to And Yoga maybe about once a week for their aerial yoga and I absolutely love it. Maya and Paige are the absolute best instructors! They are extremely patient and by the end of the class you leave feeling completely relaxed. I've also impressed my friends/family with the tricks I've learned from them. The studio is really cute; super clean and and really pretty. They have little plants all over and it smells amazing. Also, its really easy to get to, there's always parking or the train is down the block. Definitely recommend anyone to check them out!

At the beginning of the year I decided that I wanted to build community outside of a professional setting and to get back into my yoga practice. I’d been passing the studio for years so naturally I decided to look into classes here. Plus it’s Black owned which is important for me. I’ve been taking class here once a week for the past month with various teachers and each class has been great. While each teacher has their own vibe there’s consistency in the style of teaching. The teachers really focus on connecting your breath with your movement which surprisingly I don’t always find in the more commercial yoga studios. Overall the environment is warm, welcoming and tight knit. It’s perfect for folks who want a more intimate setting. They also have a discounted program for Black men on a sliding scale which is a lovely offering to the Bed Stuy community!

I have been regularly practicing yoga for 8 years now - I have lived all over the country and have belonged to many studios, but this studio is incredibly unique and it has hands down become one of my all time favorites. The staff is so incredibly kind and accommodating. Everyone is considerate and passionate. Each instructor is professional and timely, but also warm and inviting. I’ve really enjoyed the aerial classes, it has been so fun to add to my repertoire of movement - Maya, Paige and Sam are wonderful aerial instructors. I feel that the pace has been good for a beginner but challenging enough to keep me interested. The studio itself is inviting, calming, spacious and clean. I always feel at ease in this studio. I am very grateful to live nearby.

And Yoga has such a dope vibe! From the moment you step in, the energy is welcoming and grounding. I took a class with Maggie, and I absolutely loved her teaching style—thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly balanced between challenge and flow. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, this studio is a gem in BedStuy. Highly recommend!

CUSTOMER PSA: If you get a month-to-month membership, expect management to illegally charge you no matter how many times you attempt to cancel. As other reviewers have noted, they are stunningly rude and love to nickel-and-dime. I experienced multiple deceptive billing practices that violate NY State law. My membership price was raised without notice, the studio refused a legally-required refund, and cancellation was made unnecessarily difficult. Under NY General Business Law Article 30, Section 624, health clubs (including yoga studios) must: 1) Allow membership cancellations up to 3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER the monthly renewal date, and provide a refund if you were already charged; and 2) Let you cancel your membership online if you were able to sign up online. The studio does neither. They claim cancellation is only allowed if done 10 business days BEFORE renewal and do not provide an option to cancel online. Instead, they direct you to an email account which is amazingly unresponsive: it took me 11 days, multiple follow-ups, and a phone call before I ultimately got a derisive and unhelpful response. They also raised my monthly price without advanced notice, did not allow me the opportunity to opt-out, and claimed their contract allows them to increase the price on customers at any time without notice (it doesn't). Rather than continue arguing, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and won - not hard considering the studio’s practices are illegal. If you’ve been overcharged or denied a refund, you might consider doing the same and possibly filing a complaint on the NY State Attorney General's website. It's a shame, because the classes themselves are great. But having good yoga teachers doesn't excuse a business from following basic consumer protection laws.
