I have been training with Dan, in his home gym, for nine months now. I had retired from a 60+ hr/wk profession that offered little time for exercise. My son has been working with Dan, with great results, and encouraged me to try. The results I am living, speak to Dan's effective, customized workout plans. I have lost weight (15 lbs), while gaining muscle and toning, and have reduced my metabolic age by 7 years, now at my actual age. There's more improvements I aim to achieve, as I continue to enjoy the process as well as the results. I highly recommend Dan and his expertise!

Daniel is an incredibly skilled trainer who walks his talk and thoroughly understands how to train mature bodies effectively and efficiently. Daniel designs my workouts to help me build and maintain muscle strength, hard enough I know I worked out but not so hard I’m wiped out for the rest of the day. I finish sessions feeling stronger and energized—but never limping away or dealing with unnecessary soreness. I highly recommend Daniel to any person who needs to stay strong and active without risking injury!

I started working with Daniel in Oct 2025 to work on stability and strength after a battle with cancer and a brain tumor that caused numbness and balance issues. I was looking for 1-1 training tailored to my individual needs. It's January 2026 and I can't say enough about the program he created for me. His program has allowed me to significantly increase my stability and strength.

In short 5/5 has been life changing. When I started working out with Daniel at thrive fitness, it was 10 years after I'd been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I was in the worst shape of my life. I was 256 pounds, at 5'10, nearly 50% body fat, and in the worst mental place I'd ever been in. Then on a whim I started working out in August. Since then I feel like I've reclaimed a lot of my life. The first step we took was working on my flexibility. My legs were so tight, I could barely touch my knees. My shoulders were grounded, my posture sucked, and I was in pain. I didn't want to admit it, but I was. It's been 5 months since I started working out at thrive fitness, and it truly has been night and day. Now I'm at 218 (the weight I graduated highschool at), my body fat % has dropped to 42%, I'm a lot more flexible and have put on significant muscle mass. I can't thank Daniel enough. With his guidance I've been able to take the steps necessary to change my life. He truly wants to see his clients succeed and that shows through with everything he has you do. He truly tailors each excersize to your ability and what movements you can and can't do. He is incredibly knowledgeable and can speak volumes on both nutritional health and muscle development. I spent a few months looking for the right PT here in Reno, and knew I found the right one when I found Daniel and thrive fitness. Overall I can't give a better score 5/5 would highly recommend, and will be coming back for more incredible workouts. Thanks Daniel
