I have a special place in my heart for Sportswest Athletic Club. The owner takes such great care of the facilities, always upgrading & hiring nice people who do the same. The atmosphere is better than that of most gyms I've been a member of. I like to be left alone when I work out & at Sportswest there is ample space to do your thing without getting stepped on or harassed. They also offer great classes & have a super nice pool, spa & steam room. Honestly, even the showers are kept clean. It's really the best!

Love the gym. Been a member for 12 years off and on. Love the hours, 24 is great. Steam and sauna are the bonus. Not always in service but nothing is perfect. When one is out, use the other. Staff is friendly. Always clean and comfortable. No issue with facility and staff, all great. If I have issues it with members of do not rack weights, leave dirty towels out for others to clean, park bench sit on one piece of equipment for 20 minutes. Love Sports West. Don’t join, I’m selfish and want it all to myself!

I’ve been going to Sports West for about 10 years and it’s hands-down my favorite gym. I mostly do Pilates and yoga, and the instructors are always fantastic. The gym is super clean, the equipment is well maintained, and when my kids were younger they loved the kids club. There are tons of group classes, so it never gets boring. Highly recommend.

Great gym. Has everything i need to keep mixing up my routine. I've been a member about 20 years now. My favorite thing about this gym is that the owner is constantly upgrading equipment and facilities. Love the continuous improvement.

Sports West is one of the Premier athletic clubs in Northern Nevada! There have been many recent updates, including flooring and the weight machines. I love the full body 'Hoist' equipment! In addition to the juice bar, and free coffee for members and guests, the awesome and attentive staff take care of the members. Facilities include multiple weight rooms, plenty of cardio equipment, a wonderful swimming pool and coed Spa, a racquetball court, Child Care area and a full service Spa. There are many classes available for members and guests and the aquatics programs are excellent! Plenty of free parking, and a couple of good restaurants right within the same area
