reviewsWhat Members Say
Members rave about the gym's unique all-black design with LED lights and specialized equipment, calling it perfect for content creators and those needing motivation. Many praise the welcoming, family-owned atmosphere and the helpful owners, particularly noting Ivette's problem-solving skills. However, some report unprofessional behavior from owners like Cris when addressing concerns or cancellations, and a few cite serious safety issues like exposed insulation that were dismissed rather than fixed. The gym's 24-hour access and lounge area are highlighted as major perks, though premium pricing and maintenance fees are questioned given occasional upkeep problems.

Diamond Gym is exactly what RENO has been needing! A gym that is perfect for content creators or people who want to feel motivated to work out! It's an all black gym with LED lights and unique equipment that no other gym has in Reno. Plus, a HUGE posing room. I also love that it is a family-owned small business opening in the heart of the 775; this is something I can support. What else needs to be said?

Beautiful gym! My wife and I stopped by for a day pass. The owner was super welcoming! If your slightly unmotivated this gym atmosphere will get your mind where it needs to be. We can't wait to get our next workout in with them!

I love coming to Diamond gym! Not only is the equipment top notch, but the environment is everything. I highly recommend coming here for a home gym, it has 24 hour access and a nice lounge area to heat up and eat your meals. Definitely check it out and get to know the people, ask any questions about fitness and competing.

Absolutely love it here! UPDATE: as soon as I had to cancel because I was moving cities, one of the owners, Cris made things difficult. He wouldn’t allow me to cancel or stand in the building because I had a supposed balance left on my account, and just got very smart with me about the situation. Him and I were pretty tight (and I had spent a good amount on my membership) so this behavior was unpleasantly surprising. Thankfully the supposed balance was a mistake and the other owner Ivette was able to solve it.

Extremely unprofessional experience at this gym. I noticed a hole in the ceiling above the cardio machines with exposed insulation, which raises serious air quality and safety concerns, as it appears to be fiberglass material debris. Allowing this to remain exposed for an extended period poses a serious health hazard, especially in a gym environment where members are constantly breathing in the air. When I brought this to the attention of the staff member who signed me up—who appears to be one of the owners—instead of acknowledging the issue or documenting it for maintenance, she became defensive, dismissive, and outright hostile. Rather than addressing my concern professionally, she repeatedly pushed me to cancel my membership, which I ultimately agreed to, but only because she made it clear that feedback wasn’t welcome. I had only checked in three times before my membership was effectively forced to end, and I now expect a full refund. Now, consider the fact that this is an old facility establishment with new gym equipment charging $50 per month, plus an additional $50–$60 maintenance fee. If they are actively collecting maintenance fees, the owners should be using those funds to address safety hazards like this, rather than ignoring legitimate concerns. A gym that charges premium rates should prioritize facility upkeep and member safety, not dismiss members for speaking up about clear issues. If a business can’t handle basic safety concerns or customer feedback without resorting to defensiveness and poor treatment, it speaks volumes. I do not recommend this gym to anyone who values a safe, well-maintained facility and professional service. In the end, I’m glad I was pushed to make this decision—ironically, by what appears to be one of the owners.
