My son has gained so much confidence and skills after going through swim classes at Parkway. The last round of private sessions especially have been so helpful and I’ve gotten to witness him have those “Aha!!” Moments where things just click - priceless !! Huge shoutout to Trinity, who has been his phenomenal coach. She is extremely patient, kind & connects so well with kids. My son can take some time to warm up to people but he became comfortable with Trinity pretty quickly and said he always felt safe in the pool with her. Highly recommend Trinity and the Parkway swim program. Of note, the pricing is also very reasonable from private and group sessions !

I can’t say enough great things about Parkway Athletic Center in Reno! The swimming program for kids is absolutely top notch. The coaches really know how to balance fun with skill building, and I’ve seen such amazing progress and confidence in the kids. The facility itself is clean, well organized, and clearly run by people who care about creating a safe and welcoming environment for families. A special shout out to Landon, one of the trainers, who goes above and beyond. He has an incredible way of connecting with the kids, patient, encouraging, and always pushing them just enough to help them grow without ever overwhelming them. Landon makes swimming exciting and approachable, and the kids genuinely look forward to his lessons every week. If you’re looking for a place where your child can learn, improve, and actually enjoy the process, Parkway Athletic Center and Landon make the perfect team!

All of the swimming instructors are wonderful with kids! Very patient and kind, while also keeping the lessons fun and engaging. My daughters have gained so much confidence in the water thanks to Landon, Katie, Sawyer, Ben just to name a few. They offer different times which I really like making the schedule very flexible. The facility is great as well. I highly recommend Parkway Athletics for swim lessons.

This location has good equipment, but the locker room setup creates serious hygiene concerns. The shower area is extremely small and constantly flooded, with water spreading everywhere. In these conditions, requiring members to pick up towels at the entrance is not practical or sanitary. Towels are handled in a high traffic area, increasing unnecessary contact and potential germ exposure. For women especially, this is a significant hygiene concern, since towels are used immediately after showering when the body is more vulnerable to bacteria. Because there is no replacement option, if a towel gets wet while walking through the flooded area, it becomes unusable. Towels should be stored inside the locker room in a protected area, and the drainage issue needs to be addressed to ensure basic hygiene and safety standards.
