This is by far my favorite hot yoga place to go to. They are just intuitive and smart and lead a really good class. Beginners I would start at 60 Minutes once you get the flow down go to 90. I like them Pure Bikram classes, but Jan is deep soft stretching, which is nice as well. He will be challenged, but it’s the same flow every time so it’s pretty fun! I’m gonna get back in my rhythm very soon plus they have tons of cute yoga wear and yoga mats and you can rent yoga mats there. Highly recommend.

I have been attending JBY on and off for four years as a frequently visitor to Reno, including a two month stay that I just finished. There are lots of first timers in almost every class, which makes for a welcoming environment. The studio is so good. The teachers are excellent and help you gently develop your practice, the temperature and humidity of the room are consistent and enhance practice, the showers and locker rooms are clean and well-stocked for locals and visitors. Between the three studios, there are a lot of classes. The set flows are well thought out and allow for flexibility and adaptation. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is great. JBY is a huge asset to the Reno area. Thank you to the owner, Turie, Rochelle and Megan for helping make my stay 10/10. Go join a class!

My sister-in-law and I were visiting from a low altitude/high humidity area, so we underestimated how long it would take us to jog the 2 miles to the studio. We ended up making it literally right at class start time, and asked if it was too late for us to drop in for the session, totally assuming we had missed our chance. (Understandably!) But after a quick round of questions from the staff they found a way for us to sign our waivers, participate in the class and sort out the payment details afterwards. What a fantastic experience- the class was strong and the sweat was much appreciated!! Wish we lived closer, this would 100% be our regular studio. 💜

I'm from out of town and was looking for a hot yoga class to take while in Reno. I ended up taking Stitch's 90 min Bikram Pure Beginner's hot and LOVED it! The instruction was great - disciplined, warm, and clear. Upon arrival, the front desk greeted me by name and made me feel very comfortable. If I lived here, I would definitely be back for more!!

This is a really nice studio. The hot yoga is rigorous, and not for everyone, but it's absolutely worth a try (two weeks for $20 for newbies). They also have some really nice warm yin classes. My favorite instructor is Christine who teaches hot yoga and yin, and just radiates warmth, sincerity, and calm. I took several friends and family to her warm yin class, and it was very therepeutic for them. For one visiting friend who had never done yoga of any kind, it was the perfect intro class, and she went searching for yin yoga when she got home. I stopped attending Juice Box before COVID closed things, but I hope Christine is still there, and appreciated the time I spent at the studio (a few months off and on). They're not affordable for me outside of specials, but they do have specials sometimes. Tips: Keep spare towels and extra clothes in your car. You need a towel to practice, and you may want one for after you shower. They have really nice showers with products (soap and lotion) that will leave you relaxed/smelling nice. If it's your first class, don't push too hard, and opt for yin or beginner bikram.
