I had never taken Pilates before, and Club Pilates Reno provided such a welcoming space for me to learn. I originally started going to help my back recover from disc degeneration and other spinal issues, and Pilates has been fantastic for that—it’s gentle yet incredibly effective. I’ve also found it to be an excellent form of strength training overall. The studio is always very clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and highly trained. They make sure each class feels approachable, no matter your experience level. I’m so grateful I found this studio—it’s been a huge part of my wellness journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering Pilates for rehabilitation, strength, or overall fitness.

Before joining Pilates Club a little over a year ago I never liked going to exercise classes & liked working out on my own. Yet, I feel comfortable at Club Pilates. Everyone is friendly there. The instructors are skilled, encouraging & help push me out of my comfort zone to the next level. I’m really happy with the results of my workouts! And Erica the manager is always quick to respond to my email questions.

Pre-retirement, I started attending Club Pilates after work to offset the effects of a long commute home. On weekends I would travel to SoCal or Reno to stay connected with family and friends and squeeze in a session when possible. On weekends when I visited Reno, I especially loved taking a Center & Balance class with Brigitte. Now that I am retired and live in Reno full time, going to Club Pilates 4-5 times a week is an important part of my personal wellness quest. The variety of instructors keeps me coming back, ready to push myself to try new moves and to find my personal best. Having participated at other Club Pilates studios in California, I know how fortunate we are in Reno. We work hard at improving our form and focusing on our mind body connection while having fun and knowing that we are developing strength and overall wellness. If you are just beginning, I encourage you to stick with Pilates. It can be hard at first, but the personal enjoyment in meeting others focused on wellness is worth the effort. Thank you to all the instructors for making the sessions fun and enjoyable!
