A perfect one hour walking trail around the base of the mountain...well smoothed and wide. All the other walkers are friendly and you will sometimes share the path with horses. It's just a great way to start the day. If you want something a little more challenging, there are parallel trails, just a few yards up the mountain slope that are a bit more challenging, more narrow and a lot of fun for trail running. And the location of lone mountain could not be more perfect... Near ann road and the 215. One of my favorite things about this area is that I can see lone mountain from everywhere in town. And so wherever I am, I look towards it and know that I am close to a peaceful, happy outdoor experience.
