Josh and Eric were awesome. The highlight of our Vegas trip. Highly highly recommend. You don't need to be super-fit to do this. I would say determination is more important than strength and fitness. If you keep telling yourself you can do it, you move 1 inch at a time up the mountain face. I felt safe the entire time. Being in touch with nature and being able to interface with it like this was amazing.

Such a fantastic local gear shop. We try and stop in whenever we’re in town to support these guys. Consignment area for used gear—awesome! Friendly staff happy to give great recommendations about local crags. They helped us out immensely this trip, suggesting Saint George when Red Rocks was rained out, and we had an unforgettable day of climbing that otherwise would’ve been spent on the couch at the hotel. Can’t thank you enough, folks! What a great business and resource.

We had a fantastic experience with a guide from Desert Rock Sports. We spent a day climbing in Red Rock with Jordan. He was excellent--extremely knowledgeable about the best places to climb, did a great job of directing us to suitable climbs, handled kids effortlessly, and was incredibly enthusiastic to spend the day with us. In addition, Travis, one of the store owners, is both super knowledgeable about climbing in the Vegas area and a real evangelist for area climbing. He is generous with his time and expertise and offered up to us a range of options at all different price points. Definitely recommend both Desert Rock and Jordan in particular.

My guide Cameron was incredible! It was my first time climbing outdoors, and he was super helpful with all of my questions. He also picked climbs that were a great level! They were a challenge, but doable. It was awesome how he was there for beta if I needed it, but he'd let me just work it out for a bit first!
