I signed up for the Sculpt class with Alissa and had a wonderful time. I’m new to pilates and had taken 3 classes at another studio before trying this studio out (two level 1 and one level 1.5). I arrived 5 minutes early to ensure I had time to get any needed equipment and to briefly chat with the instructor to let her know that it was my first time taking the class. She was really kind and told me that she shares modifications throughout the class time and would give me any needed feedback. The class was the perfect blend of fun and challenge! I could feel the heat and knew that I was building strength, which was my goal! I was honestly a little surprised because I strength train 3x a week, but I guess that’s the beauty of pilates. No matter where you are on your fitness journey, it meets you where you are and you will always find opportunities to push. Thanks for the amazing class Alissa!

I seriously thought I just couldn't find any exercise that I truly loved and could do well until I found Core Pilates! I look forward to my classes, it's so amazing. The studio is clean, the teachers are friendly and the classes are fun but challenging. I was intimidated the first time I went because I had never done a class, but they told me everything I needed to know! They helped me feel comfortable really quickly. Jackie and Jessica are my favorite teachers! They are so kind and supportive, but they also push you to challenge yourself! Take one of their classes if you get a chance.

I was really excited to take an intro class here. I’ve had my eye on this studio since before I moved from Houston. However, my experience wasn’t up to my expectations of what I saw on social media and took time to research off their website. Before we got into the workout Danylle explained how the reformer works and what our springs need to be on. However I went through a good chunk of class on the wrong springs, (I didn’t hear the instructions clearly) making the workout harder and I STRUGGLED. She did apologize though for not catching it sooner. I really did like the workout but I was disappointed that after class there wasn’t any customer service aspect. Neither the instructor or receptionist discussed any of the memberships/prices or asked how we liked the class. It was pretty much “Ok, thank you guys for coming, have a great day.” As someone who works in customer service and sales, I would’ve loved the opportunity to be presented the different choices and membership plans and what all the studio has to offer. I get that they probably didn’t want to come across as sales-y, but for you to allow a future client to walk away without any information is wild to me. We can all get online and read what’s on the website, but going that extra step, and reaching out to present what you offer would’ve made all the difference. It’s a beautiful studio and aesthetic looks great, but it’s not enough to sell it home. Another note was that I told the receptionist upon my arrival that I needed to buy grip socks from them since I didn’t get a chance to do before coming. She let me know it wasn’t a big deal since it was an intro class and that it was up to me. Um, hello okay safety first? Even research says it is imperative to wear grip socks during class. I went to another Pilates studio (not affiliated with Core) the very next day, took the same intro class and had a much different experience. The studio said multiple times how imperative it is to HAVE GRIP SOCKS. You are not allowed to take the class without them. So off the bat my safety is number one priority. The outreach was impressive, literally from the day I said I was interested to the day I took the class. While the competing studio is a bit higher in price I felt extremely comfortable during my workout. The instructor walked by every single person, (almost a full class) and introduced herself and asked us questions about our health and fitness journey. Then, after class was finished, we were given a presentation on all the studio offers. The experience blew me away due to the effort. I hope that management at Core will read this and take this feedback into consideration to change a few things to enhance their client experience. I genuinely don’t feel that if you’re completely new to Pilates that this is the studio for you. I felt like I was supposed to know what to do prior to showing up. I hope whoever reads this has a different experience moving forward than I did.

I'm very disappointed with Core Pilates. Very unfriendly person at the front desk. It was my first time in the studio and it was near impossible to get her to respond to my questions. Almost every class has a waitlist more than three weeks out. When on a waitlist, you receive a text when a spot opens up and you have 120 min to respond. Well, I got the text at 12:50am and of course I didn't see it until 6am when it was too late. I reached out to them and, with no apology, said I was bumped to the end of the waitlist. It's like I was punished. Terrible customer service and not the greatest way to treat a new client. I also find it frustrating that you have to send messages via an app and can't speak to anyone unless you leave a message or go in person. I'm glad I didn't sign a contract and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this studio. As soon as I walked in, I wasn’t greeted and was almost ignored. I approached the staff member at the front desk, who seemed uninterested in assisting me. She handed me a brochure, something I could have easily picked up from outside their door—without offering any explanation or answering my questions. I was hoping for a breakdown of the memberships and more guidance, but while my mom and I were standing there—looking over the brochure, she told us to move to the side, because “people were coming in”. Even though, no one was at the desk at the time. To make matters worse, the instructor came over and sat behind the desk with her, completely ignoring us. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming and dismissive, and I left completely disregarded as a potential client. We again were not acknowledged when we left! Would not recommend.
