reviewsWhat Members Say

Guests consistently praise the friendly and accommodating staff, with specific mention of Anthony's excellent customer service and helpfulness with transportation. Reviewers appreciate the clean, well-organized facilities and good safety measures, though some note the neighborhood can be loud and suggest bringing noise-cancelling headphones. Many mention the excellent value for budget-conscious travelers, with several solo female travelers reporting feeling safe during their stays. Some concerns include cold air conditioning without provided blankets, limited kitchen amenities, and occasional observations of what some describe as 'shady characters' in the neighborhood.

Had a great stay, arrived late in the evening no problem. The hostel was clean, met all my needs and Anthony provided excellent customer service helping me understand the buses near hostel. Anthony was also approachable and able to work out any difficulties guests were having. I would definitely stay again very accommodating, thanks.

Every time I’m in Vegas I stay at a hidden place behind the Stratosphere it’s a twin bed with a curtain shared room with same Gender or mix. U buy ur own food at a nearby grocery called Albertsons and u label ur bags with ur name and ur date of checkout. There are lockers so bring ur own lock. And ur own nice long towel for there towels can be used for a shower Matt. The price is worth a nice sleep. Bring ur own sheets and pillow cases to put over there’s. What this place needs is Goodwill/Salvation army kitchen appliances. A nice large microwave, a nice toaster, and forks and good cutting knives and plates and bowls. Asside from this it’s totally a money saver what I don’t like are locals staying there. At check-in I saw women who looked like they were street women on a corner and men who looked homeless. I’m hoping when I return in May of 2026 not to see these shady characters. I just want to feel safe when I visit for a weekend from Texas.

This is my reviow as a solo female traveler. Ive been in many hostels around the world - from the cheapest to the more expensive. bungalows is the cheapest in Vegas. It checks all the boxes for a hostel. Its clean, well organized, and it feels safe! Theres a big common area outside where you can hang out. I spent some time walking around the area on a friday night. I did feel safe on the streets. Just have to have your street smarts about you. Be aware of your surroundings, keep your belongings close to you. It’s all well lit around you. Yes there are homeless people, but they keep to themselves. Overall I do enjoy staying here and would be happy to come again.

Really chill easy going hostel on Vegas Blvd. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are satisfied. Plenty of amenities to enjoy the strip and chill during the day or night

The experience was ok. The staff were very friendly. They give you a fitted sheet, a top sheet, and a towel, but no blanket. There is no mention of needing to bring your own on the website and they keep the air conditioning very cold. There is not a hand towel or any paper towels in the bathroom. The facilities themselves are fine for a hostel, and the common area is very pleasant. I found everyone I ran into to be very friendly. Do be aware that it’s a pretty loud neighborhood. Definitely worth bringing noise cancelling headphones. It’s about a two minute walk to the Deuce bus, so very accessible to the strip. I don’t know that I would stay here again.
